Ostritsa Hut is located on Vitosha at an altitude of about 1,637 m, at the foot of Ostritsa Peak. The building is a two-storey structure with a tourist dining room. The hut was built on the site of the older Brox hut, which burned down. The original hut is associated with the name of Helmut Brox. Since 2003 the property has been privately owned.
The hut can be reached from the Zlatnite Mostove locality (the last stop of bus No. 63) in about 1 hour, from Kladnitsa village in about 1 hour 27 minutes and from Knyazhevo district in about 3 hours. Ostritsa Peak is about 10 minutes away, Edelweiss hut about 30 minutes and Selimitsa hut about 45 minutes.
