Aida Hut is a massive two-storey building with a capacity of about 36 places. It lies in the Eastern Rhodopes, in the Haskovo hills, on the Mechkovets ridge, at the foot of Aida Peak. The hut is run by the Aida Tourist Society of Haskovo.
A 9 km asphalt road leads to the hut from Mineralni Bani village, which is 16 km from Haskovo. It is a stop on the E-8 European long-distance footpath. Nearby are Mechkovets Peak (860 m), the Aikaas rock formations about 1 km away, and the Sharapanite locality about an hour away.
