Aleko Hut is located on Vitosha, in the Maslovitsa area at the foot of Cherni Vrah (2,290 m), at an altitude of 1,840 m. It was built in stages between 1924 and 1932 and is the second-oldest hut in Bulgaria.
It is owned by the Bulgarian Tourist Union and has been operated by Moten Sport since 2000. It offers 90 beds in rooms of 2, 3, 6 and 8 beds and three apartments, as well as a 150-seat dining hall and a buffet. There are bathrooms on the floors, direct access to the ski slope and free parking. The upper station of the Simeonovo cable car is about 50 m from the hut. The hut is open year-round and is a starting point for Cherni Vrah and Tintyava Hut.
