Information updated

Ambaritsa Hut is a complex of two massive two-storey buildings. The old one was built in 1935–1936 and the new one in 1953–1960. The new building has 58 beds in rooms for 4, 8 and 12. The old building is currently uninhabited.

The hut has a dining hall and a tourist kitchen, and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Water comes from a spring at the foot of Golyam Kupen peak, electricity from solar panels, and the rooms are heated by solid-fuel stoves. There is a bath with a wood-fired water heater, and supplies are carried in by horse or on backs.

The hut is a starting point for Levski peak (about 2 h), Golyam Kupen peak (about 2 h 30 min) and the Markova Dupka rock bridge (about 3 h). Neighbouring huts are Dobrila, Hubavets, Vasil Levski, Dermenka and Pleven.
