Banderitsa Hut

Banderitsa Hut is located in Northern Pirin at an altitude of 1810 m, on the left bank of the Banderitsa River, near Banderitsa Glade. An asphalt road of about 14 km leads to it from Bansko.

The original building was constructed in 1915 as a facility for drying black pine seeds. After the war it was neglected, and in 1926 it was handed over to the Eltepe tourist society from Bansko, which repaired and expanded it in 1930–1931. In the 1980s a new large building was constructed. About 300 m southwest of the hut, along the asphalt road, there is a designated camping area.

In October 2026 the hut is temporarily closed while renovation work is under way.
