Belasitsa Hut is a three-storey building hidden among centuries-old chestnut forests at 720 m above sea level, at the western edge of a large meadow with a panoramic view of Petrich. It stands in the Ilievska Niva locality, about 3.5 km southwest of the town. An asphalt road leads to the hut from Petrich, and there is a car park and a wide meadow next to it.
The hut offers rooms and apartments with two, four or five beds, and the rooms have their own bathrooms. It has a restaurant with about 80 seats serving traditional Bulgarian cuisine.
The hut is a starting point for walks to the Rozova Polyana area and the Leshnitsa waterfall (about 40 min), to Kongur Hut (about 1 h 30 min), to Kongur Peak (about 3 h 30 min) and to Radomir Peak (about 4 h 30 min).
