Boeritsa Hut is located in the Boeritsa locality on Vitosha, at the foot of the Cherna Skala rock above Boyana, at about 1700 m above sea level. The building has four storeys and is owned by Sofia Municipality, Vitosha district. It was entered in the registers as a hut in 1956, and according to some sources it was built as early as 1935.
As of 2017 the hut had been without a manager for more than a decade, and much of the building was in a pre-emergency condition. The Boeritsa tourist society, founded in 2012, wants to manage and restore it. In 2016 the society presented an updated concept for its restoration, and the roof has been repaired. Nearby are the Borova Gora, Planinarska Pesen, Kumata and Septemvri huts.
The hut can be reached from Zlatnite Mostove in about an hour, from Vladaya village in about 2 h 30 min and from Knyazhevo district in about 3 hours.
