Bratan Hut

Bratan Hut is located in Sarnena Sredna Gora, at the southwestern foot of Bratan Peak, the highest peak in Sarnena Sredna Gora (1,235.8 m), crowned by a metal tower with a five-pointed star. The building is a massive three-storey structure. It was built as a memorial house by an initiative committee of former partisans.

The hut holds valuable wall compositions by the distinguished artists E. Pironkov and Y. Leviev. The Svezhen and Kavaklyika huts are also in the vicinity of the village of Svezhen, and the megalithic granite boulder Kutelat is on the way to the peak.
