Bukatsite Hut is located in Shumen Plateau Nature Park, near the village of Troitsa, in the area of the Osmar rock colonies, where rock monasteries have been found. The hut can be reached on foot from Troitsa in about 20 minutes, from the village of Osmar in about 45 minutes, and from Shumen in about 2 hours 30 minutes. From Han Krum railway station one reaches the village of Troitsa and then the hut.
