Bukovets Hut is located in the Elena-Tvarditsa Mountain, in the Bukovets locality, 0.5 km west of the Tvardishki Pass, at about 1070 m above sea level. It is run by the Chumerna 1901 Tourist Society of Elena.
The building has a capacity of 42 places and offers four apartments with four sanitary units, central heating, a tourist dining room, a buffet, a kiosk, a sports field and a car park.
An asphalt road leads to the hut from Elena (23 km) and from Tvarditsa (17 km via the village of Miykovtsi). The hut is a point on the E-3 route; Chumerna Hut is reached in about 1 h 30 min and Predela Hut in about 7 h 45 min.
