Chavdar Hut

Chavdar Hut stands in the Etropole Balkan in Central Stara Planina, in the Vihrushki Polyani locality west of Baba Peak. The building is two-storey, and the hut is owned by the Bulgarian Tourist Union. It was formerly known as "Planinets" and "Baba". It offers shared sanitary facilities and showers, local heating and a tourist canteen.

The hut is a checkpoint on the European long-distance E3 trail (Kom – Emine). It is reached on foot from Bunovo railway station in about 2 h 30 min, from Stargel village in 3 h 30 min, and from Etropole and Mirkovo railway station in about 4 hours. Murgana hut is 4 hours away, Rudinata hut 5 hours, and Zvezdets peak about 1 h 30 min.
