Chernatitsa Hut, originally named Komsomolska, is a three-storey building with 80 beds in two- and four-bed rooms. Each floor has rooms with their own bathroom, and four rooms share a common one. The hut has a water supply, electricity and sewage. The hut is not operating.
It was built in 1974 by the Ruen Tourist Society of Plovdiv with the support of the Central Council of the Bulgarian Tourist Union. It stands at 1355 m in a clearing amid coniferous forest in the Dalgata Niva locality, on the southern slope of Karkama peak. A monument with a partisan oath is nearby.
Marked trails lead from the hut to Studenets resort, Byala Cherkva, Ruen Hut and Ravnishta Hut. Zdravets Hut is about 35 minutes away in summer, and Ruen Hut about 3.5 hours, preferably via Zdravets.
