Edelvais Hut is located in the Machovoto locality on Vitosha, east of Ostritsa Peak, at an altitude of 1,670 m. It has 22 beds, running water and electricity, and is heated with solid-fuel stoves. There is a tourist canteen and a buffet. The sanitary facilities are outside, and there are no baths.
The hut was built in 1934 by Sofia hikers from the Edelvais branch of the Bulgarian Tourist Union. In 1957 it burned down and was rebuilt the same year by the Edelvais tourist society. An asphalt road leads to the hut and there is a small car park.
