Granchar Hut

Granchar Hut is a mountain hut in Eastern Rila, on the northeastern shore of Granchar Lake, at an altitude of about 2187 m. It lies below Sukha Vapa Peak. The complex includes a solid two-storey building.

In 2023 the hut won two grants in the "Hut of the Year" campaign. In the summer of 2024 its roof was repaired, the sleeping area was refurbished with 50 new mattresses, and the markings of the surrounding trails were renewed. A path to the ridge towards Musala Peak starts from the hut.
