Hristo Smirnenski Hut

Hristo Smirnenski Hut is in Eastern Rila, with views of Pirin, about 6 km from the Belmeken reservoir, 10 km from Yundola and 26 km from Velingrad. It lies on the European E-8 hiking route and is a starting point for trails to Belmeken, Ibar, Sivri, Slavov Vrah and Yundola. It is reached by an asphalt road.

The hut has 80 beds. Some rooms have private bathrooms, there are two apartments, and seven rooms share a bathroom. The kitchen serves Bulgarian dishes made from local produce. The complex also has a 30-seat hall for seminars and courses, a sauna, a barbecue, a ski slope and a ski room.
