Izgrev Hut is a solid three-storey building in the Western Rhodopes, on the Chernogor ridge in Chernatitsa, in the Karakachansko locality west of Chepelare. It has 87 beds in rooms of 3, 4, 5, 6 or more beds. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, on each floor. Heating is by electric appliances and solid-fuel stoves.
The hut is open all year and has a tourist dining hall, a restaurant and a buffet. It can be reached from Chepelare by 12 km of asphalt and dirt road, the last section being a dirt road for high-clearance vehicles, or on foot along a marked trail in about 3 h 30 min. From Zabardo village the trail takes about 4 h 30 min, and from Shiroka Laka village about 6 h. Studenets, Skalni Mostove and Persenk huts are about 6 h away.
