Kamen Del Hut is located on Vitosha, in the Pozhara locality at the foot of the peak of the same name, at about 1,464 m above sea level, amid mixed coniferous and broadleaf forest. The building is a two-storey masonry structure.
The hut was built in 1931 by tourists from Krasno Selo, from the Cherni Vrah branch of the Bulgarian Tourist Union, and was rebuilt in 1960.
Nearby are the Esperanto, Momina Skala and Tintyava huts and the Kikish shelter, about 20 minutes on foot, as well as the Boyana Waterfall, about 40 minutes away.
