Karandila Hut is located in the Karandila locality above the town of Sliven, in Sinite Kamani Nature Park in Stara Planina. The building is a solid three-storey structure.
The locality can be reached by the Sliven–Karandila cable car, built in 1974. From the upper cable car station it is about a 30-minute walk to the hut. The most popular hiking trail in the area is the Haydushka Trail, which takes about an hour to climb.
