Kashana Hut stands on the Kashana saddle, the highest point of the Zlatishki Pass in Central Stara Planina, between Etropole and the village of Tsarkvishte. The complex consists of a two-storey main building and three bungalows.
The hut is a waypoint on the European long-distance trail E3 (Kom – Emine). Routes lead from it to the neighbouring huts Murgana (about 1 h), Strazhata (about 3 h) and Svishti Plaz (about 3 h 30 min).
