Kom Hut (New) is in the Kom recreation and nature zone, in the Gorna Koria locality, high in the Berkovska Stara Planina. The hut is a complex of a solid two-storey building and 12 bungalows. The zone is reached by an asphalt road, 16 km from Berkovitsa.
The hut is a starting point for several routes: to Kom peak in about 2 hours through pine forest; to Shtarkovitsa peak in no more than 1 hour; to the Vazov Kamak locality in no more than 20 minutes, suitable for children too; and towards the Gorna Koria reserve.
