Kuker Hut

Kuker Hut stands on Vitosha in the Zlatni Mostove locality, about 20 minutes from Sofia. The building has served as a scientific base and as a military rest station, and in 2025 it was thoroughly renovated by ATG Design and received an award at the International Architecture & Design Awards 2026.

The hut has 9 rooms for up to 25 guests in total: 3 double, 5 triple and 1 family room. The rooms have private bathrooms, and the bedrooms are decorated with murals by students of the National Academy of Arts. There is a restaurant with a fireplace, a coffee bar, a sauna and a professional kitchen, and the restaurant seats up to 40 people. Overnight stays are offered as whole-hut packages for groups of 20 or more.

Until 31 October 2026 the hut is open to outside visitors from Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 to 18:00. In the 2026/27 winter season it works only for pre-booked groups, and individual visits resume in spring.
