Lopovo Hut is located in the central part of Belasitsa, in the Lopovo locality above Samuilovo village, at about 1262 m above sea level. It is housed in one of the buildings of a former border post, the former officers' residence, and opened in 2012. It is run by the Kalabak tourist society of Petrich.
The hut has 31 places in rooms of 4, 5 and 6 beds, solid-fuel heating, sanitary rooms with baths and a tourist dining room. A macadam road leads to it from Samuilovo village, and marked trails link it with Samuilovo, Kolarovo and Kongur Hut.
The hut is a starting point for Radomir (Kalabak) peak, reached in about 2.5–3 hours, and for the Demir Kapia pass, about 1 hour away.
