Malyovitsa Hut

Malyovitsa Hut is a complex of two solid buildings, an old and a new one, together with bungalows, located in northwestern Rila in the Malyovitsa River valley. The old building is two-storey, and the new one has more rooms.

The hut was built in 1934 as the high-mountain shelter "Malyovitsa" by the Pernik tourist society "Golo Bardo". Today it is a starting point for climbing Malyovitsa peak, for the Malyovitsa lakes and for the hike to Strashnoto Ezero. It is also a waypoint on the European long-distance route E-4.
