Mandrata Hut is a solid two-storey building with 22 places. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom, and the hut has a tourist kitchen and a dining room.
It lies in Central Balkan, in the Smesite area, along the Tazhanska River, at about 1470 m above sea level and about 800 m from Tazha Hut. It is reached on foot from Tazha village along a wide marked trail past the Kademliysko Prskalo waterfall, and the walk takes about 5 hours 15 minutes.
From the hut, Maragidik (Rusalka) peak is about 1 hour 30 minutes away and Golyam Kademliya peak is about 4 hours away.
