Midzhur Hut is located in the Western Stara Planina, at the foot of Midzhur peak (2168 m), on the border between Bulgaria and Serbia. It lies at about 840 m above sea level, roughly 8 km from the village of Gorni Lom in Chuprene municipality. The main tributary of the Lom River flows right next to the hut.
