Momchil Yunak Hut is located in the Prespa part of the Western Rhodopes, west of the Haydushki Polyani meadows, about 15 km northeast of Momchilovtsi village. It was built in 1940 and is run by the Momchil Yunak tourist society, based in Momchilovtsi.
The complex includes a two-storey building and wooden bungalows with a total capacity of 33 beds. There are sanitary facilities in the hut and in the bungalows, and a tourist kitchen and a buffet with table service operate nearby. The hut lies on the E8 European long-distance hiking path.
The nearest huts are Momina Voda, about 30 minutes to the northwest, and Prespa, about 2 hours 30 minutes to the east. The Haydushki Polyani meadows are about 45 minutes away, and the Rozhen saddle is about 3 hours away along a marked trail.
