Murgana Hut

Murgana Hut is located in Etropole Mountain, part of Central Stara Planina, at the southwestern foot of Murgana Peak (1,639 m), in the Topalov Kladenets area, in the northern part of Chelopech Municipality. It is a massive three-storey building with 60 beds in rooms, and there is also a single-storey tourist hostel.

The hut is a waypoint on the European long-distance trail E3 (Kom–Emine). It can be reached from Zlatishki Pass (Kashana saddle) in about 1 h, from Chelopech village in 2 h and from Mirkovo village in about 3 h 30 min. The nearest huts along the trail are Kashana (about 1 h) and Chavdar (about 4 h).
