Okolchitsa Hut is located in Vrachanski Balkan, near Okolchitsa peak and about 300 m from the monument. It is a complex of six single-storey prefabricated bungalows and a service building.
It opened in 1981 and was originally owned by the District Council of the Bulgarian Tourist Union in Vratsa. Until 2012 it was maintained by the Botev Path Memorial Complex, after which it was abandoned and looted. In 2012 deeds of state ownership were issued. Today the hut is closed and does not accept visitors.
