Orlovets Hut is a complex of a solid three-storey new building, an old building and five bungalows in the Babaliyata locality, at 320 m above sea level. The locality is an oak and hornbeam forest right next to the village of Hadzhiite in Karnobat Municipality.
The old hut was the first hunting lodge in Southeast Bulgaria. Its construction began in 1938 and was completed in 1939, and it was originally named "Tsaritsa Joanna". A pheasantry for breeding game birds, such as pheasants, rock partridges and partridges, was built nearby.
