Paskal Hut is a solid two-storey building at the Mali Izvor locality in Stara Planina, above the town of Pirdop. The hut opened on 24 August 1930, after the Paskal Tourist Society in Pirdop formed a committee for its construction.
The hut is a starting point for the ascent of Paskal peak (2,029 m) in the Zlatishko-Tetevenska range, over which the E3 route (Kom–Emine) passes. It is reached on foot from Pirdop railway station in about two hours, mostly uphill. Hikes from Pirdop also lead to Momina Polyana and Artyovitsa huts. There is a water tap in the hut yard.
