Prista Hut was built in 1945 by Ruse hikers, and the current four-storey building stands on the site of the original. It lies in an acacia grove in the western park of Ruse, about 6 km from the city on the road to Byala and about 300 m from the Danube River.
The hut has 132 beds in rooms with 2, 4, 5 or 7 beds and in two-bed apartments. The double rooms and apartments have private bathrooms, while the other rooms share bathrooms on each floor. In summer, 27 bungalows with 2, 3 or 6 beds are available. There is a 200-seat restaurant, a coffee and aperitif bar, a car park and a football and volleyball pitch.
The area is suitable for short walks, cycling, swimming and fishing, and nearby are the house-museums of Zahari Stoyanov and Baba Tonka, the Freedom Monument, the Friendship Bridge and Lipnik forest park.
