Ravnishta Hut is located in the Rhodope Mountains, in the Ravnishta locality about 3 km west of the village of Dedovo. The building is a solid three-storey structure.
The locality lies at an altitude of about 1,240 m, among coniferous forest, meadows and mountain streams, and the route from Dedovo to Ravnishta is the most popular walking destination in the area. It takes about 2 h 30 min on foot to get from Zdravets Hut to Ravnishta Hut.
