Rilski Ezera Hut is located in northwestern Rila, in the Kamenitoto Mostche locality, below the eastern edge of Sukhiya Rid, at 2,115 m above sea level, right next to the Seven Rila Lakes cirque. It is run by the Rilski Ezera Tourist Society from Dupnitsa. The hut is a waypoint on the E-4 European long-distance path.
Its capacity is 200 places in rooms with 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 beds, several dormitories with 11 and 12 beds, and four apartments. Some rooms have their own bathrooms, and the building also has shared bathrooms and toilets on the floors. A restaurant, a buffet and a tourist canteen are offered, along with a conference hall.
The hut is reached from Pionerska hut, which is served by a 15 km asphalt road from Sapareva Banya, by chairlift or on foot along a marked trail. The huts Sedemte Ezera, Lovna and Skakavitsa are nearby, and the area has ski runs with ski lifts.
