Svezhen Hut is a solid two-storey building with 37 beds, run by the Vasil Levski tourist society in Karlovo. The hotel section has rooms with their own bathroom and toilet, while the tourist section has rooms with three and four beds and one room with 12 beds.
The hut has running water, electricity, central heating, a restaurant, a canteen and a car park. In July 2025 the hut marked its 50th anniversary.
It is a starting point for Hayduta Shelter (1 h), Bratan Hut (2 h 30 min) and Kavakliyka Hut (6 h). It is about 1 h on foot from the village of Svezhen and about 5 h from Kalofer.
