Veteran Hut is a tourist base in the wooded Fichoza area south of Cape Galata, about 60 m from the sea and a few steps from Fichoza beach. It is run by the Galata Tourist Society in Varna.
The complex includes a solid main building that is under reconstruction and 20 renovated seasonal bungalows with external toilets and showers. The bungalows have outdoor sinks and barbecues, gazebos with tables and chairs, and a refrigerator in each bungalow. A snack bar operates in summer, and meals for groups and children's camps can be arranged on request.
The hut is reached from the Galata district along a marked trail in about 40 minutes, or in summer by the seasonal bus No. 60 to Fichoza and about 30 more minutes on foot. Cape Galata and Chernomorets hut are about an hour away on foot.
