Zdravets Hut is located in the Ovcharski Polyani area on Belocherkovski Ridge, part of Chernatitsa in the Western Rhodopes, at an altitude of about 1,185 m. The building is a massive three-storey structure. The idea for the hut arose in 1936, and it was consecrated in 1940. Next to the hut there is a ski slope with a ski lift and a ski storage room, and it is reached by an asphalt road from Plovdiv.
On foot, the hut is about 1 h 30 min from Chernatitsa Hut and the Studenets resort, about 2 h from Ruen Hut, and about 2 h 30 min from the Byala Cherkva resort and Ravnishta Hut. From Galabovo village the walk to the hut takes about 1 h 30 min, and from Dedevo village about 2 h.
