Zvezditsa Hut is located on Vitosha, in the Marina Polyana area, at about 1715 m above sea level, near Momina Skala Hotel, south below Kopitoto. The building is a solid three-storey structure with a restaurant and local heating. It was formerly the Zvezditsa rest home of Bulgarian Civil Aviation "Balkan".
Nearby are Edelweiss Hut (about 10 min.), Ostritsa Hut (about 30 min.), Kumata Hut (about 45 min.) and Konyarnik Shelter. The area has a ski run and a ski lift. The hut is a starting point for hikes to Cherni Vrah via Konyarnik and to the Zlatnite Mostove area.
