Malyovitsa Central Mountain School is a training centre of the Bulgarian Tourist Union in the Mecha Polyana locality, on the right bank of the Malyovitsa River in northwestern Rila. It is about 84 km from Sofia and about 26 km from Samokov by asphalt road. The school is not operating.
The building has 86 beds in 17 four-bed rooms and 3 six-bed rooms, with separate toilets and bathrooms. There is a restaurant, buffets, a ski wardrobe, training classrooms, a library, a sports hall and parking, and ski slopes, ski lifts and a training ground for various kinds of tourism are nearby.
The school is a starting point for Malyovitsa Hut (about 1 h), Vada Hut (about 1 h 30 min) and Mechit Hut (about 4 h), for Malyovitsa Peak (about 3 h 30 min) and the Strashnoto Lake.
