Golyamata Mochara Tourist Base is located in Northern Pirin, in the locality of the same name, at 1,599 m above sea level. The peaks of Bezbog, Polezhan and Disilitsa rise above it. The complex consists of a massive two-storey building with an attic and bungalows.
The base is reached from Gotse Delchev Hut in about 1 hour. From it, it is about 2 hours' walk to Disilishka Polyana meadow, about 2 hours 30 minutes to Bezbog Hut, and about 3 hours to the Strazhite rock tooth.
