Koznitsa Tourist Hostel

Koznitsa Tourist Hostel is a complex of two buildings with a total capacity of 52 beds, located in the southern part of the town of Teteven, in the Rata locality, on the left bank of the Beli Vit River and at the foot of Petrahilya Peak. It is run by the Vezhen Tourist Society of Teteven. The hostel has a tourist dining room and parking, sanitary facilities on the floors, and solid-fuel stove heating.

The centre of Teteven is about 20 minutes away along roughly one kilometre of asphalt road. Trails lead from the hostel to the Skoka waterfall (about 1 h), the Opasniyat Zab locality (about 1 h) and the peaks of Petrahilya (about 2 h), Ostrich (about 1.5 h), Treskavets and Cherven (about 2 h). The hostel is also a starting point for the ridge route along Vasilyovska Planina to Vasilyov Hut (about 7 h).
