Klyuch Shelter is a small stone tourist shelter in the Gorni Klyuch locality, on the Tomovski Rat ridge above Ochin Dol village in Vrachanski Balkan. It lies on the route between the village and Parshevitsa Hut, and the walk from the hut to the shelter takes about an hour. The surroundings offer a panoramic view of the Iskar Gorge and the Kobilini Steni rocks.
In 2026 the shelter was renovated under a project for developing the Iskar Gorge as a tourist destination, funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation. The roof and the window and door frames were replaced, thermal panels were installed, and the tables, benches and steps leading to the shelter were repaired, while the interior was cleaned and refurbished. An information sign was put up, and a large symbolic key made of rebar stands nearby as a photo spot.
The route between Ochin Dol and Parshevitsa Hut is about 10 km long and suits beginner hikers. The trail is marked in yellow.
