Lovna Hizha Shelter is located in Sredna Gora, at the northwestern foot of Visoka Ela peak (1046 m), near the village of Kokalyane.
The shelter is a solid single-storey enclosed building with doors and windows, built in 1976. A canopy was added in front of it in 2016. A marked trail leads to it from the Kokalyane hydroelectric plant, and another approach starts from Sinanitsa Shelter via the Durvodelitsa locality.
